Peter Harrison, Vice President Global Market Insights

Peter Harrison

Peter is responsible for Global Market Research, Customer Value Management (CVM), and Customer Experience and Customer Relationship Management (CRM). In this role, Peter is accountable for refining and expanding Cigna’s customer experience strategy in support of the Go Deep, Go Global, Go Individual strategy. His team delivers fact-based insights from all key markets and constituents to enable smart decision-making across all parts of the organization, turning insights into actions that build trusted relationships and drive profitable growth.

Peter has deep global experience in consumer products and the retail space. Since 1994, he has worked at Pepsico, Inc. in a series of business, marketing, innovation and insights roles with increasing responsibility. In his most recent position he served as SVP of Global Insights, responsible for foundational consumer frameworks, brand building / innovation insights practices, and the transformation of the company’s analytics. He also worked as SVP of Innovation for Grains (leading global innovation for the well-known Quaker brand) and as VP of Strategy and Innovation for their Tropicana North America brand. Peter also has extensive global experience, serving in a variety of international consumer-centric roles at Pepsico. Before Pepsico, he held prior consumer insight roles at Procter & Gamble and Gillette.

Peter earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics with honors from Loughborough University in the U.K. He was born in England and moved to the United States with his wife in 1998.

 

Stefan Reidling, Vice President & Senior Director Global Marketing Research

Stefan is responsible for Global Market Research & Insights. In this role, Stefan is accountable for generating fact-based, decision-relevant insights about consumers, employers, and distribution partners in support of the Go Deep, Go Global, Go Individual strategy. His team delivers those insights from all key markets and constituents to enable better decision-making across all parts of the organization, turning insights into actions that build trusted relationships and drive profitable growth by delivering personalized and affordable solutions to target markets.

With over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, his background includes roles in Strategy, Business Development, Sales, Marketing, and Operations in the banking, securities, asset management, P&C insurance, life insurance, and health insurance industries. Prior to joining Cigna, he held leadership positions with increasing responsibilities at The Hartford, The Boston Consulting Group (BCG), and Deutsche Bank.

A native of Germany, Stefan holds undergraduate degrees from Reutlingen University (Germany) and Middlesex University (United Kingdom) as well as an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
